For teams of 3 to 5 runners.
Experience the thrill of training for, and covering, the entire marathon distance with your own group of family, friends or co-workers!
The race starts at 8am.

Marathon Relay Course
Run at the same time and on the same beautiful course as the full Marathon! Stages every 8k (making the 5th stage approximately 10k long). Runners must transfer a wrist band at each stage. Maps of the stage locations will be provided in race packets. Teams must arrange own transportation. Port-a-Potties and water stations will be at or near each stage. Teams opting to use less than 5 runners will need to determine the length of their stage.

Teams
3 to 5 person teams.

Categories
Male, Female, or Mixed. Enter entire team in one envelope with team name.

Helpful information for marathon relay teams

1. Complete your relay exchange to the side of the course to avoid blocking the path of other runners.

2. Anticipate race times to:
o ensure you are there when your teammate arrives, and to allow exchange points to remain as clear as possible.
o ensure you are there to join your team at the finish line and cheer on your team mate as they finish the last leg of the marathon.

3. Each marathon relay team will be responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from exchange points.

4. Allow for sufficient time to arrive, park, and prepare for your leg of the race. Limited parking is available near the exchange points. Take note of the course route and plan parking/transportation accordingly.

5. Coordinate with your team members the exchange or transfer of any warm-up and post-race clothing, drinks and food. You will be responsible for the safe-keeping of your own items. Race staff or volunteers are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items.

Note

The 1st person on the team may also run the entire race as an individual. For mail in entries put in one envelope with team and check off BOTH Marathon and relay boxes on form. For online entry enter in both the individual and the team entry. No relay fee reduction – runner is eligible for team AND individual awards.
