and download a poster, print it and post in your workplace, the Community Centre, anywhere you think people will see it. All proceeds go the Thames Valley Children's Centre.
All runners are asked to pick up their registration packet (timing chip, bib, registration gift) on Saturday, April 28 from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Registration Tent in Victoria Park. If a runner cannot pick up their packet, he/she may have a friend pick up his/her packet by sending a note designating that person to do the pickup on his/her behalf. The runner thereby assumes responsibility for all items. While picking up your packet, enjoy the Runner’s Expo.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO registration on race day except for the Fun Run unless there is a sellout.
Swag Worth Sweating For!
This year’s gifts will be an Official London Life Forest City Road Races moisture wicking technical shirt, for those who register on or before February 28th, 2018. After the deadline, you will have an opportunity to order a official shirt for only $20. Registration gifts for the McDonald’s Kids Run for Kids Fun Run will be a loaded bag of goodies compliments of McDonald’s.
Saturday: Runners can park in the London Life lot at Clarence and Queens for a discount rate of $2 to come pick up the race kits or register. Centennial Hall lot is also open,for a cost of $5. FCRR does not benefit from parking revenues.
Sunday: Runners/volunteers can park in the London Life lot at Clarence and Queens for a discount of $2. There are other lots and on-street parking (free on Sunday) is available around downtown as well. FCRR does not benefit from parking revenues.

Your chip is supplied to you for the event in your race packet attached to your race bib – which you will pick up at Victoria Park in the Anissimoff Mann Professional Corporation Registration Tent. Your timing device is part of the bib, so all you need to do is attach the bib to front of the shirt you plan on running in on race day. The bib needs to visible for safety and identification.
The exhilaration you feel after you cross the finish line will only be the start of your day.
It’s time to kick back and revel in your accomplishment. A number of things are being planned for you, friends and family in Victoria Park, just a short walk from the end of your journey.
All participants have access to the food tent, which will offer nutritious foods like bagels, fruit and water, plus each participant will receive a ticket to use at Domino’s Pizza tent when they pick up their race bib.
All participants and fans are invited to attend Jack Astors on Richmond, just north of Victoria Park on Richmond Road.
Awards as described within this web site will be given out in Victoria Park as posted on Official Race Day Schedule, posted race week and at Victoria Park race weekend. Stay around and cheer everyone on as you all celebrate your accomplishments. Award Ceremonies will be held in the Registration Tent or just outside depending on weather.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Prizes will be awarded for Women and Men’s divisions in the Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k as follows: Overall, Masters, under 14 (5k only), 15-19 (5k only), 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. No prizes will be awarded in the Fun Run.
All prizing must be picked up on the day of the event. If you do not collect your prize on race day, please contact Sherry at email@example.com . You will have until May 31, 2018 to contact us.
Cash Prizes for the Half-Marathon: Overall M/F: 1st-$250, 2nd-$125, 3rd- $100. Masters M/F: 1st-$100, 2nd-$75, 3rd-$50.
There will be no duplication of prizes, if a runner places in multiple categories, he/she will be awarded the higher valued prize.
Official Race Drink
Gatorade is Forest City Road Races official race drink.
A medical team from Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic will be on hand to assist those who require treatment. This includes not only two licensed Doctors, but also a team of sports physio-therapists, St. John’s Ambulance staff, and medical tent. Along the course, you will find our water stations are stocked with things such as tape, gauze, bandages and Vaseline.
Please be sure to write down your medical information on the back of your number.

- Medications (i.e. epi pen, puffers, etc)
- Allergies (i.e. bee stings, allergies to medicines, etc)
Soothe and rejuvenate those aching muscles by enjoying your free massage and physiotherapy courtesy of the D’arcy Lane Institute and Spa and Forest City Massage Therapy Clinic. The massage tent is attached to the Registration Tent.
Food will be available for runners after the races. Runners, family and fans can purchase pizza courtesy of Domino’s Pizza. Plus, grab a coffee compliments of McDonald’s.
