Race
Packets
Race Packets will be available at the
2008 Forest City Road Races Expo at Centennial Hall,
on Saturday May 10th 2008 from 10 am until 5pm. Race Packets are also
available on race day at the registration tent in Victoria Park at
the start/finish area.
In order for the registration process to run as smoothly as possible
for all entrants we have a few requests when picking up your race
kit.

Only registered people can pick up their race packet
(bib, chip, T-shirt and bag). -
Printed entry confirmation (or photo identification) is required for
race packet pickup. -
Marathon Relay Team packages are to be picked up by the relay Captain.
We cannot accommodate race transfers after May 1st. It is strongly recommended that you pick up your race packet at the expo on Saturday May 10th 2008. Race packet pick up on race day ends 10 minutes prior to the start of individual races - without exception. Race packets will include your race bib, timing chip, race shirt, product samples, coupons for pizza and 'Breakfast in the Park', and important race day information.

Chip Timing
Your chip is supplied
to you for the event in your race packet - which you pick up at the
runners' expo - with your bib and t-shirt. Chips must be returned
at the completion of the event. Our
finish line volunteers will remove the timing chip from your shoe
and present you with your finisher's medal. Runners who do not return
their timing chip will be charged $40.00.For

Race
Drink
The
Forest City Road Races is pleased to introduce eLoad as the new official
race drink. Powerade will be provided at water stations approximately
every 3k along the race routes.

Race
The exhilaration
you feel after you cross the finish line will only be the start of
your day. It’s time to kick back and revel in your accomplishment.
A number of things are being planned for you, friends and family in
Victoria Park, just a short walk from the end of your journey. Want
to personal your medal? Nothers will also be onsite offering medal
engraving!
Awards
Awards as described within this web site will be given out in Victoria
Park as soon as possible following the conclusion of the races. Stay
around and cheer everyone on as you all celebrate your accomplishments.
Medical
A medical team from Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic will be on
hand to assist those who require treatment.
Massage
Soothe and rejuvenate those aching muscles by enjoying your free massage
and physiotherapy courtesy of the D’arcy Lane Institute and
Spa and The Health Network.
Food
Food will be available for runners after the races. In addition to
the refreshment tent following the race, runners can redeem their
coupon for a slice of Dominos pizza.
NEW THIS YEAR! Starbucks will be on site providing 'Breakfast in the
Park'.
