*Every participant receives a shirt (we order the number of shirts per spot in the races); however, some sizes may run out. You are welcome to exchange your shirt size on race day (after everyone picks up the size that they ordered at the expo on Saturday).
**M&T printing group prints our bibs on the Tuesday after Victoria Day weekend (in May). If you register before the cutoff, your name will be printed on your bib; if not, it will be your race number.
Training for your event
If you’re looking for a great group to train with, we recommend the Backroads Run Club. They meet once or twice a week (depending on the group you choose) in West London. Also, as a major sponsor, members of their run club receive 20% off any of our races.
If you enjoy training on your own, we recommend the RunKeeper App. The App is filled with guided runs, training program, challenges and even podcasts to enjoy.
Hotel & Travel:
If you’re flying into London Airport, please note that it is about a 20-minute drive to the downtown London Core (where the race is located).
If you’re travelling to London to participate, we recommend staying at The Park Hotel London, as it is the closest to the event (5-minute walk). It is also located in a great spot downtown that is close to most major attractions.
Race Weekend Timeline
Where to get the latest information:
We will post the status of the event directly on the homepage of our site on race weekend. We can’t trust that emails will make it through, or that participants have social media. Please check our homepage to check the status of the event race weekend (especially race morning) just in case there are delays for any reason. If there’s nothing there -the race is good to go on time!
Wednesday to Friday:
Our Race Crew is setting up in Victoria Park. Please note that we work “around-the-clock”, therefor our response to email and social media will be delayed. You can still register online during these times (provided the event isn’t sold out), and all questions can be answered on Saturday at our expo if they aren’t on this page or in our FAQ.
Saturday:

Race Roster will be onsite to assist in registration (provided the event isn’t sold out) & to answer any registration questions, transfers, etc. Our Course Director will also be onsite to answer any questions you have about being prepared for your race and/or the courses.

Please note that all streets surrounding Victoria Park will be closed on race day. And also, with thousands of participants, you will want to give yourself enough time for parking.
If you are planning to ride your bicycle to the event, please check this page for surrounding bike lockers that you can use for parking: https://london.ca/living-london/roads-sidewalks-transportation/cycling-active-green-transportation/cycling/bike
Race Photos
There will be 6 professional photographers out on the course.
Your race photos are complementary and come without watermarks.
Our photographers will be located throughout the courses to capture your experience. Although they will move around, their primary locations will be: The end of the Blackfriars Bridge, the bottom of Western University Hill, the end of the bridge in Ross Park & the finish line on Dufferin Avenue.
Please allow a few days post-event while they get your pictures uploaded and tagged properly. We will post on our social media as soon as the picture are up.
You can find them (as well as your results), in your Race Roster dashboard.
Please note that if you want high-quality photos, you will need to download the photo. If you just screenshot and share it might appear like a low quality image. Any questions about race photos can be sent to: support@finisherspix.com
Please feel free to download, print, and share! Also please tag us @forestcityroadraces. We LOVE seeing your FCRR pride!
Social Media
We LOVE seeing your race weekend excitement, pride and accomplishments! It also helps spread awareness of our non-profit event and raise awareness for the TVCC and the partners in our charity program!
Please tag @forestcityroadraces and/or use hashtags #fcrr #fcrr2025
Spectators
Spectators can take a look at our “courses” page to see a general course map (and how the courses are all connected), as well as see the individual courses.
We LOVE when spectators make signs, cheer, clap and encourage participants along the race route.
If you have a participant running the 5K, a common cheering spot is all along Central and/or Wellington Street as they are coming in. It will take them some time to get down the finish chute and out of the food tent, so you will have some time to get over to meet them.
If you have a participant running the 10K or HM, a common cheering spot (as participants will pass by you a couple of times), is at the top of the TVP & The Parkway. There is lots of street parking and you can easily walk from the top of the TVP, over to Sunset & Huron to cheer them on.
Another great spot for the HM is in Ross Park, just as they come over the bridge. It’s a great photo spot as well as a point that they would most likely love encouragement (a little over the half-way point).
Post-Race things to check-out:
When you finish your race (or if you have family or friends coming to cheer), please don’t rush away! Stick around and check out:
McFarlan Rowlands food tent! Breakfast rounds, bananas, apples, yogurt, cookies & chocolate milk is available for all participants to help themselves.
Trios College post race massage! Located near the finish line, Trios College offers complimentary massages to all participants!
HRM Photography Finishers Photo-Op wall! You can take a picture with your medal to remember your accomplishment!
Middlesex Dairy Farmers will be located in the finishers zone with chocolate milk for all, as well, they will have some fun activities and photo ops.
Kids Zone. We will have Growing Chefs on site with activities for the kids. As well as a colouring station provided by M&T printing group, where kids can make signs for their parents as they cross the line. We also have a bouncy castle and basketball game.
Expo. We will have 15 local vendors with everything from clothing to food and beer!
